Perfect foregrip for the AR platform
To me, this foregrip is the perfect foregrip for my PA-15 (Palmetto State Armory). It extends downward for easy holding and control of the firearm and can be retracted and used in that position or out-of-the-way when the firearm is slung on a one or two point sling. It foregrip was purchased at AR15Discounts in Youngsville, N.C. and the folks are both knowledgeable and great to work with. The only drawback I see in this whole situation, since getting my PA-15 is that I found out that AR15Discounts is right in my backyard, I wonder if they'll run a tab?????
Airsoft quality at best
Bought this to use on my Keltec KSG 12 gauge pump shotgun, but two factors made it not an option in my opinion. First off, it has too much movement front to rear when locked, right at 1/4" at the end of the grip. While it does lock securely in position as far as the locking mechanism, the excessive movement when racking the slide back and then forward shifts the muzzle of the shotgun left then right which pulls it off the target for followup shots. Might work OK on an AR, but that leads to my second point that knocked it out for my purpose. I wear large size work gloves and this grip only allowed me to have three fingers on it with the pinky finger sliding off the end. Not being able to get a good, secure placement of my grip sent it right to the parts bin, I may see if the wife wants to use it on one of her rifles.
Complete Junk!!!
Do not buy this junk. There is literally over an inch of play in each position that is supposed to be locked out. The other guy who reviewed this probably didn't mount it yet. Its too cheap to return and too poor to use on anything. Worse forward handle I ever had the displeasure to handle, haha (no pun intended)
