Crafted from the best materials, either certified 4150 MIL-SPEC steel or 416R stainless, each barrel undergoes rigorous quality controls before QPQ finishing and final inspection. Once finished, each barrel is examined for proper headspace using precision custom hardened gauges.
NOTE: Faxon Firearms barrels are chambered to SAAMI specification .308 Winchester at a nominal headspace depth (passing Go and failing No-Go).

Just breaking in but putting through a quarter at 50 with only myself to blame for inaccuracies. Wish it came dimpled.

Great value from Faxon. I've gotten 1-2MOA with this barrel. Is it capable of sub-MOA? Possibly, but I can't say for sure as other factors in my build are likely playing a role in less-than-awesome accuracy.

Like all Faxon barrels, this barrel offers every bell and whistle at an affordable price. You get 5R rifling, rather than button rifling, which reduces projectile deformation that leads to improved accuracy. Along with that, this barrel is fluted for reduced weight, is nitride finished, and magnetic particle inspected.
