Perfect for my build!
The right profile and weight for my build. Very tight fit which is what I prefer. I haven't shot it, but knowing Faxon's great reputation, I can't wait to get out to the range.
USFaxon Firearms 18" Big Gunner Rifle-Length Barrel
I ordered a Faxon Firearms 18" Big Gunner Rifle-Length Salt Bath Nitride 6.5 Creedmoor 5R 416-R Nitride Nickel Teflon Extension Barrel from AR15Discounts.com because they were the only company that had it in stock. This was my first order form AR15Discounts.com and was pleasantly surprised by their courteous service and very low prices. The barrel came very quickly to my PO Box without and hassles or delays. Thanks AR15Discounts.com! By the way Faxon barrels are outstanding and lightweight, a little known secret.

Faxon Firearms Big Gunner barrels = The best 6.5 Creedmoor barrels on the market.
This barrel is fantastic. The machining, overall finish and coatings, as well as the barrel crown are excellent. Installation went flawlessly using an Aero M5 upper and Aero Enhanced 15" M-LOK handguard with Aero's adapter barrel nut. Because this one has a rifle length gas system, a 15" handguard is a must, if you want the gas block to be covered. A 12" handguard will leave the gas block exposed. All of my past Faxon barrels have had outstanding accuracy and I know this one won't let me down. Time for the range. Thank you AR15DISCOUNTS.COM for the excellent service and pricing.
