This 5.56 chambered 16 inch Performance Series Barrel is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a QPQ Corrosion Resistant Finish. Our Performance Series Barrels feature a FailZero Nickel Boron Coated Extended M4 Feed Ramp Extension.
Hanson Series Barrels feature our proprietary BA Hanson profile and include a pinned lo-pro gas block. Hanson barrels are not designed to work with aftermarket piston kits.

Lightweight and accurate
Excellent fit and finish, a great deal for the price. Here's how it performs, its a lightweight barrel but still accurate. With match grade ammo, 77 gr AAC OTM was getting .5-1 inch groups at 100 yards consistently. With regular M193 5.56 it was grouping 2 inches at 100 yards. Another great barrel by Ballistic Advantage. The fact that it has a pinned gas block, is a great benefit. Its worth every penny, buy with confidence.
Great BA Barrel!
This Ballistic Advantage barrel is a great value with the included pinned gas block. Inspected it with a bore scope upon receipt and all aspects of the barrel looked good. Chamber was cleanly finished, throat area had all lands being the same length as they transitioned into the free bore demonstrating the chamber reaming was done concentric to the bore. Rifling was cleanly finished for a barrel in this class. No burs on the gas port and the gat port aligned properly / perfectly with the gas block. Crown was cleanly finished. Nickle Boron barrel extension is a nice touch and has smooth feed ramps. All in all, I expect this to be a decent shooting barrel based on prior experience with the product.

Barrel is very accurate once broke in, and for some that doesn’t have the equipment to dimple their own barrel yet, the already pinned gas block was very convenient. Great barrel.
