This 5.56 chambered 17.7 inch Performance Series Barrel is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a QPQ Corrosion Resistant Finish. Our Performance Series barrels feature a FailZero Nickel Boron Coated Extended M4 Feed Ramp Extension.
Hanson Series Barrels feature our proprietary BA Hanson profile and include a pinned lo-pro gas block. Hanson barrels are not designed to work with aftermarket piston kits.

So far, the barrel prints nice tight sub inch groups at 100 yds. The gun had issues weak ejecting xm193 and M855 loads and short stroking certain .223 loads but that was apparently due to using a pretty aggressive muzzle brake and poor fit of the gas tube to the gas block (my bad). I have since replaced the muzzle brake with a std bird cage and replaced the gas tube with a higher quality melonite tube. The barrel is light and balanced and obviously well made-spotless finish. BA has been notified of the short stroking issue and are working with me to solve my issue. the barrel shipped right away and was received promptly
