The Vortex Optics Micro 3X Magnifier increases the range at which you can use your red dot or holographic sight without adding a ton of bulk to your rifle like other magnifiers on the market. The lightweight, compact, and crisp red dot magnifier comes with a quick detach flip to side mount that allows you to switch between 1x and 3x in a matter of seconds. The flip mount uses a cam system that engages and disengages with pressure without the need for a button. With a 2.64” eye relief, you can still quickly get behind your red dot and pick up the reticle for fast target acquisition. Like other Vortex scopes, this magnifier is Nitrogen gas purged to prevent fogging and is fully sealed to protect from water.

Nice magnifier
Nice and tight lockup going from each position.

This was my first magnifier. I like that the mount is QD and the flip to side is a crisp detent only (no lock). An unexpected added benefit was that the magnifier made the red dot look more crisp under magnification. This helped when zeroing. Overall I am happy so far with this item and ar15discounts had the best sale price of $240 that I had seen on this item.

Installation and removal is easy with the qd lever. Thus far ran 200 rounds with it attached and had not come loose. Lined up on my ARs with no issue. One with a eotech, the other with romeo 5. Thinking of picking up a second one.
