Works great has a nice positive movement.

No problem, works just fine. I do have to wonder though, why has no enterprising individual taken the opportunity to just machine the locking indents into the opposite ends of the current selector shaft and made it ambidextrous? Seems simple to me, but I'm no machinist. Doing this mod would surely save on little parts scurrying off into nevermore land.

For the price, this item does the job well. When I first received the part, my thoughts were "oh no, another 'half-sided' safety". (I'm of the belief that Both sides should be equal length on this type of device) I was somewhat skeptical about it & almost sent it back. But again, the price was very reasonable. So I gave the thing a chance and as the title says- better then expected. The effort required to use one side vs the other is negligible. Pleasantly surprised & that makes for a winner.
