Superlative Arms .750 Adjustable Piston System - Carbine Length Gas - Solid - Melonited - SABO-PS-C750SM
Out of stock
The Superlative Arms Patented “Bleed Off”, Gas Piston System For The Ar15 Platform Adjusts The Gas Flow By Bleeding The Gas Out Of The Block Instead Of Restricting The Flow Like Conventional Adjustable Blocks.
Results:
- The pressure used in the block is reduced only to the amount required to drive the bolt carrier. The remaining gas / pressure are bled out of the block allowing the system to run much cleaner and cooler.
- Reduction of felt recoil.
- Patented adjustment detent is located outside of the block and therefore no contamination.
- The gas adjustment screw does not restrict the gas flow; therefore there is no erosion or seizing of the screw /no loss of detent due to carbon build up. Although it is removable, we have added a safety mechanism, which stops you from unintentionally backing the screw all the way out.
- When using SBR’s and / or suppressors the bleed off port allows the excessive pressure to be exhausted out of the block reducing blow back.

Absolutely worth it
After a few DI setups, I decided to eat the cost and try a piston kit. HOLY SMOKES, the difference is huge. This is my first piston, so I have nothing to compare to, but I'm impressed so far. Installation was easy (just follow the directions carefully) and everything functioned perfectly on my first range visit. I put maybe 50 rounds through it without issue, and only had to clean the barrel and bolt face. SO much cleaner than DI. Everything seems well made, logical and simple. Even the bushing went in no problem, and they include a tool! Haven't had a chance to play with the gas adjustment yet, but it's pretty straightforward. If you are on the fence, do it. I'm looking at converting all my uppers to pistons now.
A Superlative Upgrade
Shoot for a year and your receiver stays clean! An easy install if you read the instructions. Instruction terminology sometimes uncertain when they refer to "piston block" when they mean gas block but no other issues. Would never go back to direct gas impingement.
