The SLx® 1x MicroPrism with green illumination is an all-new advanced optical system designed from the ground up in an ultra-compact housing, allowing use of backup iron sights and magnifiers. The 1x MicroPrism is part of our SLx optics line. SLx optics built our reputation for innovation, reliability, and value. All SLx optics undergo rigorous field-testing during development to best serve you in any environment.
Using cutting-edge LED technology, the SLx 1x MicroPrism offers 13 illumination settings with AutoLive® motion-sensing on/off technology and three night vision settings for ultra-low light, medium/transitional light, and IR flood applications. At maximum illumination, the MicroPrism offers true daylight bright performance, while the innovative low-power sleep mode safeguards battery life for reliable ‘always-on’ storage. Though small in size, virtually no sacrifice was made for eye relief and even offers a generous field of view.
This package also includes our new ruggedized mounting system with industry standard mini-prism footprint, guaranteeing reliability and zero retention through heavy use and adverse conditions. Out of the box, this mount offers 8 different mounting heights and configurations, ranging from a 1” centerline for AKs and low-comb stocks to over a 2” centerline for night vision and ‘heads-up’ sight acquisition. No matter your rifle or preference, the 1x MicroPrism can easily co-witness sights or stand apart at your ideal optic height.

Great option over larger and smaller traditional dot sights.
Primary Arms hit a home run with this dot sight! It’s small and light but doesn’t have the tiny fell when looking through it. I own MANY red/green dot sights from all the major brands and this is absolutely one of my favorites. When you factor in cost, it may just take the top prize. Not to be confused with standard dot sights where you can only see the reticle when they are on, the etched glass reticle in the unit can be used during the day without even having it illuminated. The fine black horseshoe and bullet drop compensator are still easy to read just like a rifle scope without a lighted reticle. But when you turn it on it has probably the sharpest, brightest and most useful reticle of anything on the market at any price. Unlike some other premium dot sights that bloom when the brightness is turned up and pulse or flicker when they are turned down. This reticle is just a joy to look at in all lighting conditions. Add to that the hugely useful ACSS bullet drop and ranging features and you’ll be shocked no one did this in a red dot sooner. If you’ve used an ACOG scope this will feel almost the same but with true 1X magnification and ZERO color shift. The optics are more clear than any other 1x optic I’ve ever used, even better than sights costing 3x as much. Did I mention it’s super compact, solid but light at 5oz, waterproof, comes included with a solid mount that can be set to 1 of 8 heights, AND has a lifetime warranty. Finally, the motion detection auto-on and auto-off feature is something that should be on EVERY sight/scope with a lighted reticle and the fact that most of the biggest/most expensive brands on the market still don’t have it is just lazy at this point. 10 out of 10 would recommend! I think I just found my new favorite dot sight!
USPA SLX-1X. Superb short range optic!
Mounted the Primary Arms SLX-1X on a KUSA KR-9. This optic is a great choice for a short range carbine like this 9x19! I purchased in part for the NV capabilities, but it is also a great improvement over the iron sights for old eyes. If you shoot at ranges under 150 yards or so, I can’t imagine a better choice. I’m going to be ordering a couple more of these!
