The NBS Lightweight 5.56/.223 Nickel Boron Bolt Carrier Group for the AR-15 platform is precision made to MIL-SPEC standards using the highest quality materials and machining available. By reducing the mass of the BCG, felt recoil is diminished, allowing you to stay on target for more accurate shooting. The NBS Lightweight BCG is perfect for competition/3-gun applications when paired with an adjustable gas block and a lighter buffer!
The carrier is made from 8620 tool steel and is paired with a 9310 steel bolt. The carrier and bolt are then treated with a nickel boron finish to ensure longevity, increase lubricity and make cleaning a breeze.

NBS Light Weight BCG
Purchased this BCG in the hopes of solving an Undergassed system. I am running an 18” name brand SPR barrel that was not fully cycling and activating LRBHO. After careful inspection of the entire gas system and several attempts to remedy the issue by replacing parts with either lighter buffer springs and lighter buffers, I learned the barrel came from the factory without an adequately sized gas port for a mid-length system. I decided to try one last correction and change of parts prior to having to either replace the barrel or have a qualified gunsmith open the gas port slightly. I ordered this BCG hoping it would live up to the reviews, and because it was priced less than many others. AR15 Discounts always ships fast and I’ve had nothing but exceptional service from them in the past. I have to admit I have a bit of a gun addiction and I’ve spent way too much money here in the past, but I’ve always found their prices competitive and the service phenomenal. When this product arrived, I noticed the finish was even and the quality was evident. The nickel boron coating is perfect. I am running a reduced power buffer spring and all aluminum weights in my buffer and with this BCG, my rifle now cycles perfect and I’m getting about 4 0’clock ejections. I’ve put about 400 rounds through the gun without one hiccup. If this BCG continues to perform like it has so far, I’d highly recommend it. Very happy customer.

This BCG is perfect for my budget Coyote rifle build. Once I got the rifle tuned it’s been 100% reliable for me. The best part was that it was had at an incredibly low price. Liked it so much that I bought another. Highly recommend.
