NBS AR-15 Ultralight M-LOK Free Float Handguard
The NBS Free Float M-LOK Handguard is a no-nonsense American Made M-LOK compatible rail system designed for versatility and simplicity. It features a picatinny top rail and M-LOK attachment slots on the 3, 6, and 9 o’ clock positions. Precision machined from 6061-T6 aluminum extrusions then type 3 hard coat anodized you can be sure that this handguard can withstand an incredible amount of abuse. Its slim profile feels great in the hand yet with a 1.35″ inside diameter it can accommodate any true low profile gas block and even has enough clearance to recess some muzzle devices such as flash cans and linear compensators. It is a true do-anything rail system and the cost-value ratio makes it very hard to pass-up.

Exactly what I was looking for
I’m very happy with the 15” hand guard. It fit well, the barrel nut seems to be quality made, and the finish on the hand guard matched the rest of my rifle. No complaints.

very light handgaurd, feels very sturdy. i do question the durability of it since it feels so light but hasnt given me any problems after about 300 rounds. i will say, the open holes do let out more heat so id get a wrap or some type of grip inserts

I ordered the 12.5 to replace the hand guard on my Smith and Wesson M&P Carbine. This length for a carbine is perfect. Not only is it very nice, it’s also very practical. The slots allow me to access the adjustment screw on my adjustable gas block without having to remove it once I installed it. It has a very solid feel and a nice finish but it’s actually light weight. Plenty of rail for accessories if you wish or need to add them. The barrel nut is great because it has flat sides so you can just use a standard crescent wrench to install or remove. It’s a simple, functional, affordable, American made rail that was delivered quickly.
