Packing the box is AWEFUL!
I ordered 4 of these. 2 orders of 2. Both came with the receivers banging around in the bottom of the box with a piece of paper covering them. All 4 were dinged up fairly bad with two being scratched right thru the anodizing. Sending all 4 back for replacement. I'm done with these guys.
USCharging handle doesn't fit
Got this upper receiver to replace my S&W M&P Sport I upper because it doesn't have a dust cover or forward assist (can't add them either). After receiving this upper I tested all the parts and found that the dust cover is very difficult to open and the charging handle doesn't fully push forward and lock into place. As soon as the handle gets to the upper it just stops and no amount of force will it allow it to travel any more. I figured that it might have been the charging handle from the M&P that was out of spec so I purchased another charging handle and the same thing happened with that. This is very upsetting that this product wasn't tested, prior to being sold, for functionality. The attached photos show the charging handle pushed as far forward as I could get it... it still has a ways to go before the latch will catch. Looks like I need to find a new upper :(
