This pivot pin has a spring-loaded push button that, when pushed, retracts the stainless steel detents for easy pin removal. The steel housing has a black oxide finish. The button also has a drilled cross hole which allows for the installation of a seal wire to prevent tampering with the guns internals. The pins are fitted with an end cap to simplify pin removal and installation. It also prevents any debris from entering the internal parts of the pins.

KNS Precision Enhanced Pivot Pin
instead of checking fitment on a standard pivot pin prior to installation on a custom billeted lower, i got ahead of myself and ended up splaying the hell out of the aluminum trying to take the damn pivot out for tear down. after carefully backing the pivot pin out, removing detent and spring, cleaning up the metal with a dremmel, this thing went right in and works perfect! Thanks!
