Searched for a quality upper, and found this one. What’s not to like? It has the latest technology; no worries about the gas block, high end barrel and BCG! The 9.5 inch has the carbine length gas block, which I prefer over the pistol length. It comes with a decent dust cover, however I swapped it out, no need to disassemble, can slide the pin out towards the rear. I’ve put about 400 rounds through it, you definitely need to run the standard carbine buffer, or even lighter. I tried starting with the H3, then H2, then H, along with a heavier spring. It didn’t want to cycle very well, until I was down to the carbine buffer and standard spring, which HMD recommends. BL, this setup is not over gassed. BTW, I will be looking to get the 12.5 inch in the future.
