The handguard is 100% made in the USA from extruded 6061 aluminum, hard-coat anodized black and comes with a steel barrel nut. Mounting is extremely simple with common tools and the handguard features alignment tabs to ensure it cannot rotate during vigorous movement.

Installation Instructions:
- Torque barrel nut to industry specs using 1-3/8 wrench to no more than 50 foot/lbs. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
- Install handguard, locking block and clamp screws. torque to 32 inch/lbs.
- After the initial live fire test, check to make sure torque specs are still in line.

faxon 10.5 handguard
The only reasonably priced and good quality hand guard that can be found for AR-10 pistols. I was a little worried I would not like this as much as I do. It will fit on both an Aero Precision ar-10 upper and Wilson Combat. looks amazing on the WC 8.6 blackout. They clearly released this because of 8.6 blackout becoming more popular. Perfect for 12 inch barrels. PSA: the handguard has alignment tabs that slide on the upper. This is a great feature, but it needed fitting on my Wilson Combat upper. Take a small flat metal file, and SLOWLY take an extremely small amount of material off where they attach to the upper. I did not need a caliper, but I have done gun smithing with a file before. This seems tedious, but took me a couple minutes at most. You want it to be a tight fit, so constantly check if you can put it on with a reasonable amount of force. If you mess up, not a big deal. Will still be rock solid, you will just have to align the handguard yourself. If you do it right, perfect alignment every time. Also, needs a crows (1 1/4") foot if you want to apply a specific amount of force with a torque wrench, not the usual AR wrench with the teeth. However I have put these on before, and know the amount of pressure that they should have. I easily just used a crescent wrench, and checked if the barrel moves ever so slightly when moved left to right, and springs back to original location.
