What is Sandstrom 28A?
- Sandstrom 28A is a laquer-like coating that is used by the Department of Defense.
- This low-friction coating can be used in adverse conditions from -325 degrees to 300 degrees, when load pressure is over 100,000 PSI, and still function properly.
- Sandstrom 28A is virtually unaffected by corrosion, acids, oils and degreasers.

Lightning fast ship & quality buffer spring
Installation of the spring was a little tedious since the spring is almost double the length of a standard milspec carbine spring but does fit after working it in a bit.. Annoying "Twang" is near non-existent which was my motive to purchase. Cycles during dry fire just fine, haven't taken to the range yet so can't speak for any mitigation of felt recoil for overgassed rifles.. Buy this spring, not the Geissele Super 42, does the same thing for less than half the cost.
USFlat wire spring
The spring is much smoother and uniform in motion, than a round coil spring. This is my third one and am happy with them all. It's like replacing a broke shock on your car, much smoother action!
