They also need to be machined to exacting standards, otherwise you run the risk of driving yourself bat-shit crazy because every roll pin you try to use ends up mushroomed and bent all to hell or worse yet, excessive leaks or blockages in the gas system.
The Dirty Bird Industries .750 Low Profile Steel Gas Block is the answer to all of these potential problems. Precision machined from 4140 Steel with a jet black Nitride finish, this gas block includes 2 Knurled Cup Point Hex Head Set Screws and a Stainless Steel Roll Pin.

For the price you can't go wrong
Machining is decent and looks like it will last. The finish is nice, not top notch but you aren't paying top notch so at the price point you can't beat it. Get it you won't be disappointed.

Well Above Average
High quality gas block, that was dimensioned well. Perfect fit, finish was a 4.5/5, but there are some very, very minor machining marks. This is an excellent gas block for the money, but the finish is not quite as nice as the Aero Precision gas block. Roll pin is included and set screws are of the serrated type. If the Aero Precision gas block isn't on sale, get this one.
