I purchased this barrel to replace the OEM barrel on my PSA upper. Although the PSA barrel was fine, when I saw the price on the Cyber Monday deal, I could not pass it up. I went to the range today and shot various cartridges 75-77 grain due to the 1/7 twist. Using Black Hills 77 grain OTM, the gun achieved 1 MOA, dare I say sub MOA at times, when the shooter was using proper technique. You will be very please with this barrel form Ballistic Advantage, but be sure to use the manufacturer's break in procedure, which is tedious.

Caught this when there were only 2 left in stock and 50% off. Best 90 bucks I ever spent. This picture was taken of a target shot at with 30 rounds of PMC X-TAC 55 grain 5.56 ammo in ten 3-shot groups at 100 yards using a Diamondback DB-15 refitted with this barrel and utilizing a non-magified red dot optic (Primary arms SLX MD-25 ACSS). Any deviations you see are due to my own error as a novice shooter. In more experienced hands, I am immensely confident that even smaller groups are achievable using this barrel. Its thick HBAR profile lends to its ability to remain accurate after sustained fire; the pictured target was shot after 4 fully loaded 30 round magazines had been expended in short order over the course of 30 minutes while zeroing the optic, and very little drift or expansion of its groupings were observed, if any was even detectable at all. The only reason this product is 4 stars instead of 5 owes to the condition it arrived in at my doorstep. Upon opening my package and unsealing the packing components, I found this barrel marred with an extensive coat of thin surface rust. It was easily removed with a 30 minute cleaning session with Clenzoilâ„¢ CLP. Easy of a fix as it was, it should not have arrived that way. All in all however, it's the only a minor gripe and has nothing to do with the performance of this barrel in and of itself. If you find this barrel in stock and you're in the process of either building a new rifle or refitting an old one, this product is an excellent investment, especially at its price point. Doubly so if you find it on sale.
