Upgrade the barrel on your 9mm AR build with the Modern Series EPC 9mm Straight Profile AR-15 Barrel from Ballistic Advantage. This 9mm barrel measures 11″ and has a 1/2×28 thread pitch for adding your favorite muzzle devices. It is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a QPQ finish and is compatible with standard mil-spec upper receivers and other 9mm dedicated uppers. Since it is 9mm on an AR-15 platform, it doesn’t require a gas block or gas tube because it operates by blowback. This model features an integrated feed ramp and barrel extension.

I ordered a 9 mm EPC Ballistic Advantage barrel, but received a 16 inch HBAR instead. I emailed the company after-hours and surprisingly got a response a short time later. They took immediate ownership of the mistake and were already working on shipping me the correct barrel by the time I replied to that email. The new barrel shipped out, I received it with no problem and the barrel is everything I expected from Ballistic Advantage - great quality, good price and accurate.

Excellent quality with a improved feed ramp allows me to shoot all FMJ and most hollow points. Velocity with NATO 124gr FMJ or 124gr HST is right were you would want it for a 50yd zero and a +2.7/-2.7 trajectory from the barrel to 100yds. I would recommend running at least 26+ ounces of total mass weight (9mm Bolt & Dead blow buffer combined) and using a standard AR carbine spring and checking for signs of early bolt movement.
