This .223 Wylde chambered 16 inch barrel is machined from 416R Stainless Steel with a bead blasted finish. Our Premium Series Barrels feature a FailZero Nickel Boron Coated Extended M4 Feed Ramp Extension.
This barrel features some of the most aggressive and weight reducing flutes on the market. Coming in at a total weight of 27 oz. We’ve managed to cut almost a pound out of the barrel while not sacrificing one ounce of accuracy.

I had a AM15 that I wanted to upgrade! I chose The Ballistic Advantage SPR16 . The barrel is super nice! Beefy and has beautiful fluting! Installed easy ,sequentially torqued to 50 ft lbs. At first it was getting 1 1/4 in groups with FC SMK 77GRN. BUT after running a few drills and cleaning the barrel (breaking in barrel procedure)a few times. I'm early getting less then 5/8 to half inch groups now, 5 shots groups. With Federal Champion Gold 77 SMK ,Sig 77Otm, and HORNADY Black 75bthp . Absolutely great preforming barrel! After the barrel break in it's super nice. It's sorta my SPR Build with Monstrum panzer 1-10x it's a legit Lazer beam. One guy at the range was amazed at 1moa at 200 yards. Running drills feels nice that the balance is In the center of the rifle, and the spr profile with barrel fluting has great rifle balance!. Definitely recommend! Plus AR-15 discount services is great! My new go to for builds !!!

Buy it, especially when this barrel is on a sale. Even for the regular price, it is a worthy investment. It's an extremely high quality barrel, looks good and mine is absurdly accurate with Hornady 55gr. frontier ammo. One caveat though is that they aren't dimpled for a gas block if that matters. In a real world, a dab of blue lock tight is fine for sport shooting and hunting.
