It's not a typo
I just had to see what a $1 buffer spring looked like. I bought 2 just incase one fell apart in my hands. FYI, it didn't. I figured its like a spare tire, don't drive on it, but if something happens to one of your good one's, it will get you home safe.

This is a quality spring and it’s much cheaper then others! I bought this spring and another one that cost 10 times more to see the difference in them and I was surprised that this spring felt almost exactly the same as the expensive one! Only time can tell if it will last. 600 rounds so far and no problems.
