The Aero Precision AR-15 Gen 2 Stripped Lower Receiver is the perfect base for your custom AR-15 build. Machined to mil-spec dimensions, their lowers work with standard AR-15 components and ensure the highest quality with a correct component interface.
- Upper Tension Screw – Allows users to fine tune the fit of the upper and lower receiver through the use of a nylon tipped tensioning set screw inserted in the grip tang of the lower receiver. This provides a tight fit with any standard AR-15 upper receiver.

Aero Precision Upper/Lower Combo
My first ground-up AR build, I decided on .458 SOCOM (for some reason). This Aero upper/lower set is AMAZING! Ordered all the parts for this build on AR15Discounts.com except the muzzle brake & buttstock (muzzle is just a standard bird cage & the buttstock is an MFT that I made a custom NRAT strap). Due to the extra large size of the .458 SOCOM round, I did have to open the ejection port a bit, but following specs I found online it was very easy with a Dremel. Should have gone with the XL upper but couldn't pass up this awesome deal and I don't mind a little modification work. Very minimal break in (10 rnds then clean, 10 rnds then clean) it was shooting groups through the same hole or touching at 50 yards with just a basic TruGlo red-dot (once I got it sighted in) and 300 grn Speer flat nosed hollow points. Always a lot of fun at the range & everyone wants to know what I'm shooting! Shipping was very fast to a local FFL & it was well packaged. AR15discounts rocks!
