Only One Of Four Worth Buying
I've came to the realization the only four forward assists worth buying/using are Aero, BCM, Spikes and Colt. Non of the cheapos fit because they are chronically out of spec and also made out of improperly heat treated steel or junk steel. You always have fitment issues with those. They get jammed STUCK or lockup no matter how many times you drive the pin out and redo it. Even when using a alignment punch as a slave pin and testing first. How can it be misaligned when the slave punch was driven out at the exact time the roll pin is being driven in from the opposite end? Something is always "off" and it doesn't matter how you rotate or clock the spring either. I've never had the same problem with this Aero or the other three. They drop right in and work the first try. Aero are generally easier to get and a bit cheaper than the other three as well.

Its like "If you have seen one forward assist you seen all forward assist." Well that said yes its a forward assist, its assembled wall and made out of good material. But do we still need them? So many uppers can be ordered without having forward assist in todays world. I will still order mine with. I have not had to use one in many years, but have had to use and count on it before in life. If you are using you weapon in real world gunfighting, dirt, grime, carbon gets in the BCG, this little button could keep you in the fight, and stay alive. JMO
