The glass is protected by the aluminum chassis to prevent it from cracking if it gets impacted by a barrier or dropped. The illumination, windage, and elevation adjustment buttons are easy to reach, and O-ring sealed, making this optic completely waterproof. It runs on a single CR2032 battery that can last up to 30,000 hours on the lowest setting and 150 hours on the highest. Just in case you forget to turn it off for the day, it has a 14 hour auto-shutdown feature to prevent excessive battery drain when you aren’t using it.
