In addition, the stock is constructed from the finest materials, making it capable of withstanding the most rugged demands. The IMOD stock is the perfect start to any AR-15 build. The improvements of the IMod are as follows: Integral, but removable non-slip buttpad (color matched to stock components). Rolled/angled buttpad toe with wide traction area. This will assist in running the stock high on shoulder, making the IMod system more user friendly when using web-gear and/or body armor.

Better than B5
The Vltor IMOD is my favorite stock. It beats out the B5 systems by a long shot in my book with better lockup and a more ergonomic cheek weld. I’m surprised I don’t see more people running them
USVery Solid Stock
This Vltor stock has a very solid fit. You have to give a bit if effort to make each adjustment. I prefer this over being overly easy to slide back and forth. If you use it with the A5 Vltor buffer tube there are numbers you can see for your adjustments. The buttpad has a high amount of grip when against the shoulder. Doesn't feel like it has any chance if slipping. The removable waterproof storage is a nice touch.
