Fitment issues
First, I would say the finish and machining on this look really good. However, I ran into 2 issues..... 1- The fitment for the barrel is extremely tight. I had both a Faxon and a VKTR barrel on hand to try and both would not just slide in. I had to use a rubber mallet to tap it in. Towards the end, I needed to do more than just tap it, to get it all the way seated. I assume this is what they mean by "thermal fit"? 2- I originally planned to put this on a Aero lower. I found the hole in the rear lug did not go quite low enough to allow the take down pin to go through on my Aero lower. Luckily I tried a different brand lower and it worked OK. I've never had any other uppers have fitment issues with Aero lowers.
