Features:
- SPD has a dual power source. The Red Dot reflex optic can be powered by the sun via the top-mounted solar cell or the Included AA battery
- Solar cells mounted on top of the reflex sight will power the red dot whenever there is sufficient sunlight on the solar cells. The Red Dot automatically turns on when there is sufficient sunlight
- The SPD Red Dot can also be powered by the AA battery. AA battery should be used when there isn’t enough sunlight, when using the optics indoors, or when using the optic at night. The electronic control panel has a red LED indicator when the Red Dot is powered by the AA battery
- Features an electronic control panel to turn on the Red Dot under AA battery power. You can adjust the brightness level up or down when powered by the battery

Very well build and Good Price!
Solid body with QD attachment. Works with and without batteries on low light - it has solar panel on the top. Powered by 1 AA Battery. Easy to operate. Good buy!

Better than expected!
First of all, I got my package from AR15 Discounts a day early which was a great surprise. I have to say I am impressed with the VISM Solar Red Dot. It seems incredibly well built and locks up super tight on my rail. The solar function is very, very bright even on a partially cloudy day. The battery seems to offer a good bright dot too. For less than $100, these seems like a no brainer.

The first one I purchased is a wonderful red dot. It was purchased to be a temporary or back up that I could throw on something but it found a specific home on a specific rifle. My wife wanted one and the price was right so I ordered a second. Cannot comment on the second one I ordered. It did arrive but a porch pirate got to my front porch before I did and he/she now have possession.

Besides the fact that the battery indicator light cover wasn't secured and just flopping around (I secured it with industrial grade epoxy), this Red Dot is pretty good. The dots are really define and adjustability is pretty good as well. Shot 200+ rounds in it so far. Held zero. Overall, can't complain. Good price and a good buy.
