My Reason...
It works perfect for my rifle setup. 7.62 x 39 bolt action 20 rnd. magazine and FFP 1-6x24 auto ranging reticle scope. Yes I know it is limited in range but so are my abilities and eyes. This works for my old butt.

I am impressed with the quality:price ratio for this product. I attached mine to an M-lok rail adaptor from magpul as opposed to the UTG rifle stock adaptor included. I have not used in the field yet, but will update in the near future should issues arise. I plan on using the bipod when it is not convenient to carry around sand bags.
