The Tuna Cans BackFin (6-Baffle) is built for shooters who want a suppressor that’s lightweight, crazy strong, and purpose-built for .300 Blackout and 8.6 Blackout. This is a dedicated BackFin can designed to handle hard use while keeping weight down—perfect for setups where balance matters.
Up front, it features a large 3″ blast chamber made from heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel, along with a heat-treated 17-4 stainless first blast baffle—built to take the hottest, harshest pressure and erosion where it matters most. The remaining baffles and the end cap are made from aero-grade 7075 aluminum, saving weight while maintaining strength and durability.
With a .375 bore, 1.625″ OD, and a compact 6.75″ length, the 300BackFin delivers big performance in a lightweight package—coming in at just 10 oz.

Impressively nice can but be aware it does NOT include a mount
Being new to cans still (this is my third) is no fault of the company, and to be fair, the product page does clearly say there is no mount included. When I first read it and ordered it though, I interpreted "no mount" as no QD mount or muzzle device, but still able to direct thread onto the barrel. Be aware you WILL need a direct thread mount if you plan to go that route. I ended up grabbing one from my LGS and paid a little more than I probably had to, but they helped me pick it out while visiting the can in NFA jail so I gratefully gave them my business for the mount. The Tuna Cans muzzle devices are around the same price I paid for what I got and can be found here when in stock, so if you plan to go that route, you may just stick with the same MFG. The can itself performed very well. I only had time to fire 10 rounds when I picked it up, but I fired 5 supers and 5 subs. The supers were a hair quieter than the larger of my 5.56 cans, and with the subs, the SPROING of my buffer spring was louder than the muzzle report. I thought I might regret not getting the 9 or 12 buffer model, but so far I am not feeling like I left anything on the table, especially for what I paid. Now, I just might have to grab another Sound Mitigation Buffer...
