You can easily switch between brightness settings with the rubberized and weatherproof buttons on the sides and even switch between manual and automatic modes. Manual mode allows to change settings whenever you want, and automatic mode turns on the optic to a predetermined setting. After 16.5 hours from the last button press in manual mode, the RMR will divert back to automatic mode.
