This Toolcraft 308 / AR-10 / 6.5 Creedmoor DLC BCG is trusted by weapons manufacturers and custom rifle builders around the world. Now you too can get this outstanding BCG at a fraction of the cost.
The Diamond-Like Carbon Coating is a relatively new and highly desired coating for BCG’s. DLC has a very low coefficient of friction, is self-lubricating in dry conditions, extremely resistant to wear, highly resistant to corrosion, and one of the hardest coatings at 90 Rockwell. DLC is tough, so it features additional lubricity over Nickel Boron, and if you want a smooth running BCG that’s easy to clean, this is the one for you!
The bolt is CNC machined from heavy duty 9310 alloy steel. 9310 steel has a high core & fatigue strength rating, a high hardenability rating, and when properly treated it is actually about 7% stronger than the “mil-spec” Carpenter 158 steel. The bolt is then shot peened (stress relieved) and finished with the same Ion Bond DLC as the carrier. The bolt also comes completely assembled with mil-spec gas rings, and a high tensile 4140 steel extractor. The bolt is also Magnetic Partical Inspected (MPI) for quality assurance.
The DLC Carrier is machined from 8620 Toolcraft proprietary steel. The gas key is DLC finished 4130 steel, fastened to the carrier using Grade 8 screws and then properly staked. The carrier also features forward assist serrations.
This BCG is compatible with DPMS style uppers.

US
Quality BCG
Bought to replace a new Aero BCG that is defective, in a new Aero M5. It would fire 2-3 rounds and lock up. The Toolcraft BCG was installed and performed flawlessly.
USA Well Made 308 BCG
The machine work on this Toolcraft AR-10 / 308 / 6.5 Creedmoor Bolt Carrier Group w/ High Pressure Bolt with an Ion Bond DLC finish is flawless. There are no machine / toolmarks anywhere to be seen. The DLC PVD coating is likewise even and devoid of imperfections. The gas key has been properly staked. The material specifications for this BCG and its components are all very good. If there was one minor improvement I would like to see, it would be an ever so slight bevel on the edge of the ejector pins. They are by no means sharp or have any burs, etc. and they are unlikely to not swipe the brass on case heads - so, while they are unlikely to present any such problems, it would be nice to see that additional finishing touch. Overall, very pleased with the purchase and I expect to acquire this product again in the future.

Fast shipping and it fit perfect in my AR10 6.5 Creedmoor. No headspace issues and very well built. I would recommend this BCG to anyone looking for top quality BCG at a fair price.
USDLC 308/6.5CM BCG
Great finish and feel to it. Haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet but I am sure it will be great like all the other Toolcraft bolts I have used.
