Finish is Black Nitride which is a metal treatment that produces a case-hardened surface. The resulting finish is extremely wear and corrosion resistant. It is also very slick, especially compared to the traditional phosphate finish. This means that all contact surfaces of the BCG will experience less friction and smoother, more reliable function. Easy clean-up of this smooth surface is a nice bonus. The rich black color on these BCGs looks great on the Black Rifle!

Best BCG for the money!
Disassembled to check quality and everything looked great. It's working flawlessly in my newest build. This is my new go to BCG for all of my builds. I've used others around this price range and they do not compare to the Toolcraft!
