The Superlative Arms Patented “bleed Off”, Gas Piston System For The Ar15 Platform Adjusts The Gas Flow By Bleeding The Gas Out Of The Block Instead Of Restricting The Flow Like Conventional Adjustable Blocks.
Results:
- The pressure used in the block is reduced only to the amount required to drive the bolt carrier. The remaining gas / pressure are bled out of the block allowing the system to run much cleaner and cooler.
- Reduction of felt recoil.
- Patented adjustment detent is located outside of the block and therefore no contamination.
- The gas adjustment screw does not restrict the gas flow; therefore there is no erosion or seizing of the screw /no loss of detent due to carbon build up. Although it is removable, we have added a safety mechanism, which stops you from unintentionally backing the screw all the way out.
- When using SBR’s and / or suppressors the bleed off port allows the excessive pressure to be exhausted out of the block reducing blow back.

fantastic piston kit
I tried the adams arms kit first and it won't work with most aftermarket barrel nuts due to how the spring for the piston rod is based on compression against a "milspec" nut. These put the spring mechanism right in the gas block portion so the rod will fit pretty much anywhere that a gas tube will. The only thing to be wary of is the type of handguard you're using. I believe any "SD" type meant to be able to cover a suppressor will fit (my MI and Aero enhanced both work fine) and I believe the MI G3 might fit from looking at it's internal profile but I didn't want to disassemble my build with it to check. The block ALMOST looks like it will fit the Aero Atlas series, but it only goes the first inch or so the upper channel under the rail changes size partway into it (will show in pictures) Alignment is just a bit extra work over a normal gasblock installation, I now have 2 of these kits, one clamp on style and one standard set screw. Set screw version was quicker to align, but that was probably because my barrel came pre dimpled, so I just lined the hole up with the dimple and done. After 2 range trips with my first build, internals are still pretty clean, operated smoothly, haven't gotten to test suppressed but it I liked it so much that I bought a second.

I've tried all the gas piston systems out there and the Superlative blows them all away. I now own 3 as well as one of their adjustable gas blocks and they all perform flawlessly. From their rounded gas rod that centers into the bolt carrier key to their adjustable forward gas porting to keep the block clean, their definitely the only gas block and gas piston system I'll ever buy from now on.
