The SI JCOMP Gen2 is the classic Type 89 compensator re-engineered and updated for the 21st century. Due to end user feedback, the favorite features of the original are retained, but the J Comp now features increased muzzle rise compensation, and is available in 7.62x39mm and .308/7.62x51mm in addition to 5.56×45/.223. Now also compatible with Oppressor and FerFrans concussion reduction devices.
The J-COMP concept comes from the Type 89 Japanese assault rifle used by the Japan Self-Defense Forces, the Japan Coast Guard’s Special Security Team units, and the Special Assault Team.

USGood combination Flash hider/muzzle brake
This fit perfectly on my AK clone. It really reduces flash and recoil. I moved away from a traditional style brake because the concussion was too much to shoot recreationally. Finish is a little to be desired...looks dusty all the time.
USGreat Muzzle Device for AR10
I put this on my AR10 chambered in 308. Really helped the felt recoil and muzzle climb. I did take it to an indoor range to function test, and the body was just diverted to me though in the booth. Better for the outdoor range. Really great comp, flash hider and brake combined into one. Get one you won’t be disappointed
