The SI GSB is a polyester based thermoplastic polyurethane barrier that is uniquely designed to absorb recoil. The GSB was designed to increase durability between the areas of the metal slide and polymer frame while also decrease the amount of overall wear. The GSB is compatible with several models of Glock™ and comes in two degrees of hardness for the user’s desire comfort level of recoil relief. The relief gained will also decrease the shock to your hands which prevents muscle fatigue and allows for more control for the next shot. It is engineered with a retaining design to ensure buffer will be secured on the slide and has added extra cushion knobs for extra buffer.

Worth the 10 dollars
Pretty good buffer, I wasn't expecting this little piece of plastic to really do anything noticeable, but man was I wrong. Definitely helps stay on target and lead to faster follow up shots, it's also nice that you get two buffer weights to pick from. Note there is an injection mold marking on the bottom of the buffer when you first get them, but they do wear themselves down after some usage as seen in one of my pictures. The recoil itself I'd say was cut by a good bit, not as light as a 22LR but lighter than standard range ammo. I'd estimate by at least 15 percent, using the red buffer. All in all, you do still feel the recoil of your ammo but its more manageable especially when mag dumping a target Installation wasn't too difficult, the buffer snaps into place in the front of your slide, does get weird to manage if you have a non-captured guide rod however so best installed at a table or some flat surface where you can use both hands to compress your spring. Would I recommend this product? I highly recommend this for those that are seeking a bit of extra recoil management for their concealed carry, those with smaller statures and are having issues with controlling the recoil and shock of your Glock or those who are new to shooting and got themselves a Glock and are looking to train their recoil management. For the price point of around 10 dollars, it's not a bad accessory to add to your kit and I think is well worth the extra bit of cash next time you're shopping around for your Glock. They actually work great. I use them in my G23 and G20. They aid in frame/locking block slamming and improved recoil and ejection. Immediately noticed a difference in feel and wear on P80 frames when using higher pressure ammo.
