Strike Industries Flip Switch Low Profile Ambi Safety Selector
When you’re building an AR15, one of the main factors you pay attention to is the controls; safety, mag release, etc. The one thing you don’t want when building an AR is for your controls to get hung up on your gear. The Strike Industries Flip Switch prevents many of the snags and catches you might encounter by providing you with a low profile safety selector. Left and right handed shooters will be happy to know it’s also set up for ambidextrous operation. The Flip Switch is designed to give the shooter a smooth feeling safety selector that can be easily operated on the range, during competition, or in adverse conditions. If you’re building a highly customized AR platform, the Flip Switch also comes in all of the usual Strike Industries colors including: Black and Blue, Red, and FDE (Flat Dark Earth).
The Strike Industries Flip Switch Low Profile Ambi Safety Selector includes everything you need to replace the factory safety. It comes with the well-known Strike Industries 60/90 Shaft that gives you the option of a 60 degree or 90 degree throw. Perfect Function
I already own a Strike Switch Safety Selector for one rifle. It functions great as well. I purchased this Flip Switch for a recent build. After using both I would lean toward this one for more ease of function and for being less obtrusive. I do like them both and have no intention of replacing the Strike Switch. This one is just more simplistic. And sometimes that’s fine too. Would recommend this switch as a nice upgrade to an ambidextrous safety.
USWorked+perfect+
Very easy to install.
USWorks good for lefties
I was looking for safety that would work ambidexterously with getting caught on the webbing on my hand on the off side when engaging. This works well for that. The 60degree throw setting is a bit too stiff so I went to the 90 throw and it is better. I would suggest using some blue thread lock once you decide which throw you will use. The arm that you flick with your finger can come loose if not tightened and threadlocked.
USGood ambi option
Very solid selector. Would buy again!
USGood deal
Feels much better than mil spec safety great choice and not too expensive
