The SI Carbine Flat Wire Spring is an economical and easy upgrade to any AR system with a carbine buffer system. The flatwire spring increases service life of the platform, smooths out the shooting cycle, and greatly outlasts the stock spring Increased bolt load, in addition to decreased compression force increases reliability in cycling. Additionally, all SI Flat Wire spring are cryogenically stress relieved to provide greater consistency, longer spring life, and greater resilience to high cyclic rates. At a cost not much greater than stock carbine springs, the SI Flatwire is an easy option for those either looking to replace worn buffer spring or begin new builds.

Strike industries flat wire buffer spring
As soon as It was installed it I immediately noticed that it worked as advertised got rid of the "twang" that comes with stock springs. When shot it doesn't scream into your ear when it pushes the bcg into battery like the mil-spec. A little work to put it in compared to the mil-spec but overall great product.

This did exactly what I needed it to do! My original buffer spring was really sluggish and double tapping was impossible because of how slow it would cycle. I added this spring and it runs perfectly! Money well spent, very good buy!

Strike industries flat wire spring
I must say I was extremely impressed! I couldn't believe the difference, it's night and day. It shot so smooth and no twang! Now I don't spend a lot of money on upgrades but this is a must because it shoots smoother and last longer, much more reliable. All ARs should come with this spring.
