Cant beat it
I purchased this stock on sale, which was an absolute steal. Based on the price and some of the reviews saying it was loose I didnt have high hopes, but I've always wanted a SOPMOD stock, just couldn't bring myself to pay the price. Dont let the price or some of the reviews fool you, this stock is an amazing value and very well made. With that said, I have not put thousands of rounds down range with it yet, but the build quality is exceptional and I dont see any less quality than you'd find on a magpul stock. I do not have a B5, but I do have a magpul STR stock to compare. The ambi qd swivel cup is great and something you typically have to pay more for, even if it isn't rotation limited. Lastly, I see no issues at all with the fit on the buffer tube. Currently putting together a new lower using an NBS carbine buffer and it fits perfectly. Is there some slight wobble? Yes but well within reason and what Id consider normal. If there wasnt room for a little wobble, the stock wouldn't easily slide on the buffer tube for LOP adjustment. Magpul puts a leaf spring in their stocks that pushes against the buffer tube to reduce perceived wobble. Its not that they fit better, they just mitigate it. This stock does not have a tension spring and considering, that the movement is normal. I can't compare to the B5 because I dont have one. Regardless, I couldn't be happier with the fit and finish on this stock and ill likely be buying a second to replace my magpul STR on my other lower. One more thing ill mention is I noticed in the photos that this stock has two little holes toward the front that dont appear in photos of the B5. These are little pockets for tabs on the battery compartment caps to lock into which prevents them from simply being pulled straight out. You must rotate them in towards the buffer tube and then out, in case you were wondering like I was. Thank you to ar15discounts for bringing a wallet friendly, US made SOPMOD stock to their customers. I really appreciate it.

This stock is great! I read some of the reviews before I made my purchase, and some were saying it was slightly loose and that it felt cheap. Not the case! I found it to be extremely tough material and fit very well! The rubber butt pad is very nice also. Shipping was also very fast. I most definitely will be buying from AR 15 discount again.
