These sights for the price are well worth it, well made and work great.
Wanted a low cost sight, and got one
I purchased the combination of this rear and the corresponding front sight to mount on a 13" plus the upper picatinny. Just wanted a set of sights to make the rifle usable until a scope can be had. These sights will probably do the job but I don't know yet how accurate or stable these are. The picatinny is a standard rail so anything attached should mount somewhat normally. This rear sight doesn't appear to mount straight and level or centered on the rail even though it's on a quality upper. Something to watch for before mounting is the elevation screw sticks out the bottom of the sight and needs to be raised a bit PRIOR to mounting on the rail. The front sight mounts level but also not centered on the rail. These are very inexpensive and they will work for what I need for now, but I'll consider purchasing a couple steps up in quality next time. Physically these are some substantial sight, lots of metal and heavy. The oversize thumbscrew for tightening is a bit overdone but it comes in handy by not needing any tools for installation or removal. Aside from all that, AR15discounts is excellent to deal with so far in any respect.
