We wanted to build an affordable upper assembly without cutting corners. This means using a steel gas block from an American Manufacturer as opposed to aluminum, quality American Made handguards and using a proven M16 profile nitride BCG paired with a NBS 16″ Mid-Length Barrel.
This also means taking the time to ensure that the upper will function reliably. We check for excessive leaks in the gas system using compressed air. We use Permatex 242 on key components while using mil-spec AEROSHELL 33MS Anti-Seize grease on the barrel nut and muzzle device.

Surprising accuracy. 556 upper that punches above its price
I put this 556 complete upper on my rifle roughly five months ago and have used it extensively on the range since. My main takeaway: the accuracy is phenomenal. I’m getting essentially the same results ( 1 moa, sometime sub ) as my dedicated ADM4 Mod2 $2,400 complete rifle, same point of impact, comparable group sizes, and consistent shot to shot performance. That’s not an exaggeration; it’s the level of performance I’d expect from an upper built with careful attention to barrel quality, chamber, and harmonics. What I changed: I swapped the charging handle right away and later replaced the bolt carrier group ( after 1000 rounds ) only because I upgraded to Unrivaled Technologies, so new muzzle break, ultralight bcg, and competition buffer system. They refined the setup, but the baseline accuracy came from the upper itself. Reliability hasn’t been an issue, multiple ammo types, tried most match ammo and gr from 55 to 77. The upper has fed, fired, and ejected cleanly. Fit and finish are clean, the barrel harmonics feel stable, and the upper mated to my lower without torque drama. If you’re hunting for accuracy close to high dollar complete rifles but want to save money (or build modularly), this upper is a standout. Highly recommended. I plan on buying 2 more.
