The NBS 16″ Slick Side Billet 5.56 416R M-LOK Rifle Kit includes everything you need to turn your stripped lower into a functioning rifle. It has our 5-star rated NBS Slick Side Billet 416R Stainless M-LOK Complete Upper. Our customers have been blown away by the outstanding accuracy these of these uppers. It also includes an L-E Style Stock and Buffer Kit and Odin Works Mil-Spec Lower Parts kit.
Here is a bit about the complete upper included in the kit:
This upper uses a nitrided steel gas block from an American Manufacturer as opposed to aluminum, quality American Made handguards, and using a quality NBS M16 profile Black Nitride BCG paired with a 416R Stainless Steel Midlength barrel chambered in 5.56 with a 1:8 twist rate. The 1:8 twist provides the shooter the freedom to pick from a wider selection of bullet weights. From 55gr target rounds to 77gr match bullets, this barrel will stabilize them all.
This also means taking the time to ensure that the upper will function reliably. We use Permatex 242 on key components while using mil-spec AEROSHELL 33MS Anti-Seize grease on the properly torqued barrel nut and muzzle device.
Bottom line is this: you hear all the time about guys buying a budget upper and it not lasting or having to send it back because of some hardware defect or other issue caused by a careless assembly process. Great budget 416r Stainless barrel
200+ rounds so far at the local gun range. I didn't follow any break-in procedures and group sizes seem to get tighter after about 3 or 4 magazines using PMC X-Tac 55 grain. I'm no marksman using cheap ammo but once the 3x scope was sighted at 30 yards, the group sizes are smaller than a $.25 coin and most of them are touching each other so I'm sure it'll perform nicely out to 100 yards and beyond.

This upper is fantastic for a build on a budget. Give you everything you want without worrying about missing something.
