An affordable upper assembly without cutting corners. This means using a nitride steel gas block from an American Manufacturer as opposed to aluminum, quality American Made handguards, and using a quality NBS M16 profile Black Nitride BCG paired with a 416R Stainless Steel Midlength barrel chambered in 5.56 with a 1:8 twist rate.
This also means taking the time to ensure that the upper will function reliably. We use Permatex 242 on key components while using mil-spec AEROSHELL 33MS Anti-Seize grease on the properly torqued barrel nut and muzzle device.
Bottom line is this: you hear all the time about guys buying a budget upper and it not lasting or having to send it back because of some hardware defect or other issue caused by a careless assembly process. That is why we use brand name components, assemble each unit to the highest standard of quality, and why we don’t sell our uppers without pairing it with a BCG. Excellent Upper
Bought this upper a few months ago and I really liked it. I mated it with an Aero Precision M4 lower in anodized green. I like the green on black two tone look combined with the slick side and stainless barrel. So far, I have put about 400+ rounds through it without issue to feed or eject. Ammo used was Winchester 556 and PMC 223.

Just finished a build using this upper installed on an Aero lower. Aside from all the personalized preferred customized parts, this upper really was a great choice. I do wish it had a forward assist, but I wanted to give a slick side a chance in the field and on the range. The overall finish is very nice, inspecting everything from end to end, gave evidence of good quality, detail to specs, and it looks much better then pictures could ever show. I have several uppers with stainless steel barrels and love them. I will certainly purchase from AR15 Discounts again. Glad I found them.

Got it for a build to use a 22 converter with. Works and feels great. Shot about 600 rounds of 22 through it just fine. Haven't gotten to shooting any 223/556 through it yet.

Always good to have a couple uppers for quick exchange, due to heat or malfunction. Don’t think it will happen to you? You are not spending enough time at the range practicing. This upper is stainless steel a little different than I’m use to, but after break in it shoots well. AR15discounts always provides quality products and ships fast. Yes, I would recommend this upper and was on sale, hard to beat.
