Lefties rejoice, the NBS 16″ 5.56 Left Handed Complete Upper was built just for you. This is a high quality mil-spec compatible upper assembly that will provide better handling and ergonomics for left-handed shooters. Plus you can be confident that you’re getting an upper assembled by competent professionals using top notch, brand name components.
The Left Handed A3 Upper Receiver is manufactured by Stag Arms, T-Marked and Hard Coat Anodized. This is actually a forged upper receiver, so you can be confident that it will match up nicely with any mil-spec lower from a variety of manufacturers. It also features a functional forward assist and dust cover.
The upper uses a NBS Black Nitride Left Handed 5.56 BCG. The 9310 bolt is MPI tested and the entire bolt carrier group is manufactured according to Toolcraft’s high standard of quality. A mil-spec charging handle is also included.
The top-tier 16″ Black Nitride Mid-Length barrel is chambered in 5.56 NATO (can shoot both 5.56 and .223) and features a 1:7 twist. The smooth shooting mid-length gas system uses a Stainless Steel Gas Tube and 4140 Steel Gas Block with a Black Nitride finish.

A GREAT INVESTMENT
This was, for lack of a better description, a bucket list item. My daughter wanted an AR built by me. She is a "South Paw" shooter and it is hard to find some left hand firearms for her. I put together the lower and mounted this upper to it. We function tested the firearm and that smile on her face was priceless to me! It is well built, functioned flawlessly, and made both her and I very happy. My thanks to AR15.COM for the support and Stag Arms for their efforts. If you have a left handed shooter and you are looking for a carbine length upper, I would strongly recommend this item and AR15.COM for your build.
