A2upper build
Great!! good manufacturing, easy to build, Only thing I didn’t like, I had to go to another site to get the rear sight kit. I would of rather purchased it right here from Ar-Discounts. Otherwise my experience has been excellent. The customer service line responded quickly and answered all the questions that I had.
USM-16A2 upper
Have not used it yet. That being said the unit is clean with no forge marks. Anodizing is good and uniform. Fit and function are also good. I would buy again if I needed to.

Bought this UPPER to replace a POS 22Lr polymer one that was given to me, that broke. I scavenged the SIGHT from a Detachable Carry Handle that was BEAT. I chose this one for price and availability, was nice that it was only 90 miles south of me. The most difficult part of assembly was installing the Sight, everything else was relatively easy. I have built a few before! The rear mounting lug was very snug on the Anderson Lower, I filed both sides evenly until it dropped into place with minimal effort. I used 'ALUMINUM BLACK' to replace color that was filed off. The Uppers anodizing matched up very well with the Anderson Lower. This rifle is fitted with a CMMG 22Lr Barrel. The 22 Lr BCG fit well into place. Lower cost me ZERO, bought Barrel, and bought Upper after Polymer one broke, all other build parts were leftovers I had from other builds, and other unused items. All in all a nice rifle with an older look that appeals to me. The A1's were still considered the 'New Rifle' when I was in the REGULAR ARMY, RESERVE, & NATIONAL GUARD. I will definitely be checking this Website more often, it's already saved to My Favorites.
