I was pleased with my a1 upper receiver. It was marked C H and came in a nice matte black. I applied moly resin to make it a nice dark gray. A surplus rear sight went in flawlessly as did a new production tear drop forward assist. Unfortunately it did come with a small ding that scratched some of the anodizing off on the left side. I do not think this happened during delivery as the upper was securely covered in bubble wrap.
