Lantac Enhanced .308 Bolt Carrier Group - LA00300
Only 1 left in stock
The Enhanced .308 Bolt Carrier Group is precision machined from 8620 Steel with a 9310 precision hard ground bolt. The entire carrier assembly is electroless nickel boron coated for lubricity and corrosion resistance. The carrier design features forward facing gas ports which offers a smoother energy pulse and a system that runs cooler and cleaner with less pressurization of the upper receiver when running a suppressed barrel. The flared boss at the tail of the carrier provides a more consistent lock position within the upper receiver while its 1 lb 2.1 oz weight helps to increase lock time.

Two further flats are machined at 90 degrees to the front face, minimizing internal wear to the cam channel.

Lantac Enhanced .308 BCG, NiB finish flawed.
There was an audible scrapping noise while performed a lockup check of the BCG by pushing it into the upper with slight finger pressure. The BCG arrived with NiB burrs on one of the runners and the angled Gas Port. One of my other builds uses a 5.56 version of the same BCG, the runners are smooth, no extra bits of NiB anywhere. This is clearly a Quality Control miss in the pre or post plating process. I called LANTAC, they will exchange for another.
