The KAK Industry 1/2-28 Standard Flash Can is a simple yet effective flash can which directs gasses, noise and concussion down-range away from the shooter. This is especially useful when shooting a short barreled rifle or pistol build.
The flash can itself is machined from 6061 aluminum and is threaded for the 1/2×28 thread pattern found on many .223/5.56, .224 and 9mm barrels.
The bore is large enough to allow a 9mm projectile to pass through it and can handle full auto fire. It doesn’t create any back pressure so gas cutting is not a problem.
It can be torqued directly against the barrel shoulder so it is not necessary to time the device but you may use a crush washer (sold separately) to time it if desired.

Great addition to MIKE9 Upper
The primary arms website gave me bad info for the thread of the barrel. Returned the first KAK can and easily installed this on the barrel. Will be back for my next build.
USBest BANG for your buck

USReally nice can for the price
Nice can would recommend easy installation
USNoise reduction
This flash can not only dampens flash but redirects the blast forward making the noise much more tolerable. Makes my AR much more fun to shoot. Recommend for all plinkers.
USWorks excellent
This is the 2nd one of bought from here, works great directing muzzle blast forward on short barrels. Makes shooting in dark more manageable as well. I recommend this to anyone with a short barrel
