Great price, worthwhile upgrade.
I've been wanting to update my S&W M&P 15 Sport (Gen 1) for a few years now and finally decided to ditch the old A2 for a new look. I have to say i was shocked at the difference this little inexpensive compensator really made on that rifle, and the finish matched the barrel finish so well it's like it was always there. It never had much muzzle climb, but now it's shooting so flat that it feels like a completely different gun. I even ran it on and FRT lower i have and it was absolutely flawless with controlled bursts at the range. It doesn't matter that it didn't have a crush washer, an extra $2 on the order wasn't going to break the bank. I like it so much, i bought another one for my 7.62x39 AR to get rid of that A2 birdcage as well.
Inexpensive and effective
This is the little comp that could. It is definitely the least costly and most effective .22 cal recoil mitigation enhancement I've ever used. Installation is quick and easy. I used SS flat washers to time the muzzle device alignment at 12 o'clock on the 16" barrel and it stayed locked in place through all the drills it was put through. The POI shift to the right needed a few clicks to get back to center. This is a seriously understated compensator.
