Fact, Fiction, Different or Unique ?
Got a box of "Comp's" from outrageous to KAK 1/2 28 now. Active Shooter, multiple rifle & firearms enthusiast & builder. Bought this for my yearly hunting rifle build. This year I used a 20" Spiral Fluted Stainless Blackened .233 Wylde for starters & that's pretty much aLL the detail I'll tell you to continue. I was looking for a compensator that both complimented the gun well, but wasn't flashy. Lost half my audience right there. Just kidding. The KAK is good looking, but mysteriously understated. I noted upon receiving it, that the finish was unusually thin in a faded ashy washed-out dull barely flat black, so I powder coated it to my color, satin flat black & we had it very good look going. Any coating or color adheres well after washing it. It comes without oil on it or any crush washers, so you should order some to get this "Comp" right. First note the hole patterns. Screw & torque for your gas holes to be on top to start out. Fire the rifle noting any jump in any direction, right, left or upward. Turn the gas holes towards the way of the jump until the rifle shoots straight with minimal rise if any in my case. The crush washers can be added and torqued until your KAK 1/2 28 only for use on .233 / 5.56 lines up to offset the pull to a comfortable shooting objective. I recommend this Compensator for longer barrels at this point, only because I have yet to put it on a pistol or a carbine. On a 20" rifle, it does as good a job as an 80.00 dollar "Comp" or two I have. Remember, no oil rustic finish out the bag & no crush washers. I'll be buying a couple more before KAK raises the price on this diamond in the rough. Hey, give this baby a try, nothing to lose & I believe you'll be astounded right out the gate.
