Hornady 22 Cal .224 90 Gr A-Tip Match (1-7") Bullets 100Ct - 2286

Precision shooters seeking the ultimate in long-range accuracy turn to the Hornady 22 Cal .224 90 Gr A-Tip Match bullets. Engineered through extensive ballistic research, these match-grade projectiles deliver exceptional consistency and reduced drag variability for tighter groups at extended distances.

Advanced Tip Technology for Superior Stability

• Precision-machined aluminum tip – Longer than traditional polymer tips, this design shifts the center of gravity forward to enhance in-flight stability and resist aerodynamic heating.
• DVRT™ Drag Variability Reduction Technology – Features a flat meplat that promotes uniform bullet drag, minimizing dispersion for smaller groups even at extreme ranges.

Optimized Design for Match Performance

These bullets incorporate an optimized bearing surface and secant ogive paired with a refined boat tail for high ballistic coefficients. Doppler radar-verified performance ensures they are forgiving across variations in seating depth, muzzle velocity, and twist rates, making them ideal for competitive shooting and precision reloading.

• Highly concentric AMP® jackets for consistent bullet geometry and accuracy
• Recommended minimum twist rate of 1:7″ for optimal stabilization in 22 caliber applications
• Packaged in boxes of 100 for reloaders and competitive shooters

Why Choose Hornady A-Tip Match Bullets

Whether you’re competing in long-range matches or developing loads for tactical applications, these projectiles address key pain points like inconsistent drag and tip deformation. The result is reliable, repeatable performance that helps you achieve sub-MOA accuracy without compromise.
